Our League History
Formed in 2003, we are based at Clifton Community Centre And Play On The Clifton Playing Fields, Farnborough Road, Clifton.

Southchurch Colt's FC were formed in the season 2003/04 by the Current Club Chairman Richard John.

Southchurch Colt's FC was then increased with another team a year younger by Carl Masey.

Paul Farmer took over from Richard John season 2007/08 and has moved Southchurch FC forward by increasing the number of teams and forming a committee to help with a smooth running of the club.

A "vision" of a Community Centre that provided football and sport for all, with well meaning and dedicated volunteer's helping to run it.

Striving to provide quality coaching  for youngsters, coupled with an appreciation of the needs of youngsters to enjoy their football, finishing every game with a smile on their face, looking forward to next weeks game.

Our club identity is associated with fair play, sporting nature & quality coaching. Every member of our Club is a valued member, regardless of ability. All are encouraged to fully participate.

We do not hold "trials" for mini-soccer players, our challenge is to develop and encourage all players to fulfill their potential and enjoy their football.

Many obstacles were overcome through a determination to succeed & with the help & commitment of our Team of Managers / Coaches and Committee Members, that "vision" is becoming more of a reality as the seasons pass.

From that first season of fourteeen Players, the Club now provides football for nearly fifty youngsters, a number which is steadily increasing as the months go by. Social events throughout the season, provide an oppurtunity for all Members and their families to get to know each other, strengthening the Club and Community bond.

Our programme includes...

Mini-Soccer for boys under ten years of age.
Competetive 11 - a - side football.
Age groups playing in local leagues.
Coaching at weekends and during the week.
A great social programme that can involve all members of the family.
On going training courses for all volunteers.
